Sorry the old Catblog has been silent for so long. Here’s the return of George Herriman’s “Now Listen, Mabel” from 6-23 to 7-9-1919. Jimmie Doozinberry tries to get adopted in to Mabel’s family so that he can be near her, but her Mom just makes a kitchen slave out of him. In the 7-8, Jimmie gets socked with a rock, just like his sister strip character Krazy Kat. I’ll try to post the next couple of batches of “Now Listen, Mabel” as quickly as I can. See you very soon.
